Can You Feel it!

Here you go, for your viewing pleasure,

I'm awake....

Morning..
Yea that's right it is 3 pm and i am awake. Of course you are, you say. But no, I did a night duty again last night, so after about 4 hours sleep, maybe even only 3 and half hours since 7 am yesterday, I am in my pjs with a coffee and crumpets sitting on the couch watching the Janice Dickinson modelling agency, (She is a freak I might add, looks a bit like the joker actually, LOL). I have just enjoyed a special on the emperor penguins, fascinating. Now I am going to read the paper, and contemplate actually putting on a trackie, but I really can't see the point. I must make a mental note to have a shower in the mornining though! LMAO.

I have to just mention I am excited by Australian Idol, I LOVE the new ad, clever and catchy marketing. In Dance news, I have to say I was outraged about the guy they didn't accept. He was an awesome dancer, and not only did they not put him straight thru to Vegas, but after choreography he still didn't make it either. Crikey, they put worse dancers straight thru.

Ok, off to relax now. I will leave you with a cute little boy card using the versatile Ahoy Matey stamp set, and a jumbo eyelet, loven' them. i have coloured the images with my ink pads and blender pens, so easy. Also a sneak peak at my fave stamp set from the new Mini catalogue, called ALWAYS. The birdie is soo sweet. You can order from the mini from 1st August, soo not long now. If you want a mini catalogue, let me know and I will post one off to you.

A great time!

Well date night was a success. LOL. We had a nice meal, where we discussed, um...the kids (I know) and also tried to remember the last movie we saw together. We couldn't remember. We then went into our movie armed with popcorn and Mark had a choc top. As I said we saw The Dark Night, and it was very good, we both really enjoyed it. Costly night though, probably about $160 all up when you take into account babysitter, dinner , movie and snacks. Hence the reason we don't do it very often. But I have to say the cost is worth gettin some couples time, as it is very limited these days. Must work on that. In other news, I have taken some annual leave from work in order to use up what I have left at Southern health before I become an official Central Bayside Community Health Services employee. It is only 5 days, but I will bask in it. Yesterday I sorted my tax stuff and also did the xmas shopping at Targets mega toy sale. Yes I braved the crowds, spent nearly an hour in the layby cue, all in the name of savings. I have never laybyed anything in my life, as when I want something I want it now. But money is not as free flowing as it used to be, so it was layby or no christmas. Very happy with my purchases. I also finished off Emmy's invites, which I will share when I take a pic. For now here is a little card I made for a challenge on a forum I am in. It looked beutiful and then I realsied I had forgotten the semi circle, so that was an after addition, hence the not really matching. OK Emmy awake, so best go sort her out. Mark is off to the footy tonight with a heap of mates from Geelong, so that will not be pretty!!

If you want the recipe, leave me a comment.

Cheers and have a great weekend.

The Mojo Stealer

Yes this is the layout that stole my mojo, inspiration and motivation. I think it was the doubleness of it, and the 7 photos. Too hard basket!! and I wasn't going to scan it, but it took me so long to do (so not me), that I thought I would.
I have another one I have just finished that I will scan asap because it is great.

Cheers my friends.

Olay Olay

Yes that is right, I think I am an Olay convert. Having been through many facial products, from Nutrimetics in High SChool, to Estee Lauder through uni (had to spend Austudy on something, LOL) and then for the last 7 or so years Ella bache, I have most recently been using Oil of Olay. I had purchased a cheap bottle to have in the swimming bag, and then pulling up the purse strings, thought I better use it up, and so have been using it for a couple of months when It dawned on me that my face has been essentially zit free. So how fab, I have decided I will use the cleanser as well, and ad in a night cream. I use my ENJO face glove to take it off too, so that mild exfoliation and increasinf blood circulation also helps.

In other news, Kim has been down for a few days. We had a little dabble scrapping, which was pretty uneventful. I had my biggest lack of mojo and inspiration ever. This LO just won't happen, but nearly done now. We did a bit of shopping, and went to see Mumma Mia on Sunday. Loved it, such fun, I had to hold my hand on my knee to stop it from bouncing to the songs. Everyone else seemed to be very sedate. I even had to remember I was in the cinema and settle down my signing, LOL. My brother and his wife also visited, hi guys, always wonderful to see you. Especially loved our midnight sibling catch up and gossip in the office. Lovely. Harry and Bain of course ran a muck from sun up to sun down, and then some.

In more exciting happenings, tonight was the start of the new season US So You think you can dance. What a bummer I had a meeting. Never mind I have taped it for tomorrow. I seriously need to sort my tax stuff so i can (hopefully) get a huge return! Fingers crossed.

OK night, gotta get some beauty sleep. Oh best cleanse first, hehe.
Here are the cutest munchkins. Note harry's bruise..I tell you this child does not go a day without adding a new cut or bruise to his body.

Hoo HOO

How very cute is this little guy.

If you are lucky enough to book a demo with me, you can make him.

Unfortunately I can't take credit, one of my team mates found him on splitcoast stampers, (thanks for finding him Flick and making me one, I still owe you one) and a big thanks to the original designer.

All SU products used to make him.

Cheers Karen

Catching Up

Hi Ya all,

here are a couple of cards I made using silver embossing. The bigger one with the flower was for the lovely speech therapist at work who got engaged. The other was for my SU workshop yesterday, HI Girls, hope you liked it. If you want to know the colours and products used, just drop me a line. :) (Designed by me, and you can copy any of my cards or layouts, I couldn't give a toss, but images on SU stuff is of course copyright SU ((not my rules!)), so if you wanna design some stamps, don't copy these images, hehe)..

Our big SU special this month is a bargain demonstrator kit, so if you are after over $550.00 worth of SU products for only $299.00 then drop me a line. It is a huge saving of 46%, and you don't even have to have any workshops booked to start, you don't even have to ever do a workshop, but if you want to you can. The choice is all yours. Hey and maybe i will even throw in my own surprise gift.. Jump in and drop me a line or call (phone 0408 731 643) to grab a bargain and %30 off your first order, and minimum %20 off every order after that (and bonus freebies of course).
Oh and the SPRING MINI is out the 1st AUGUST so if you would like a copy please leave a comment or email me - markandkaz1969@iprimus.com.au . There are some lovely stamps and the bonus is they are all die cut, woo hoo!. Some lovely patterned papers too, oh and divine silver hodge podge.

For ENJO lovers, and even those who want to know more, we have realised a fantastic fruit and veg fibre. It is amazing for cleaning the pesticides and dirt off your produce and leaving a beautiful shine. That greasy layer is truly gone. Just yell for more info or a current catalogue (the new look booklet).

so I am loving TV ATM, Dexter started last night, I love a bit of blood and guts. I really like Michael C Hall from 6ft under, and like the dark comedy of this show. Have seen a few eps on Foxtel, so was happy to have it on free to air. i am also mega excited to see US So you think you can dance starts next week. Woo Hoo.

OK best get to doing a July SU newsletter to inspire you, and any other left over things I have, in between watching a bit of criminal minds. Must sort Emmy's invites for her birthday too, my goodness, 2 years old, my sweet dear little thing.

Cheerio..

WARNING! A stinky update

Hehehe, yes I am a stinky little beast. I just had a shower, and realised I hadn't actually had one since Saturday night, peeeew.

The days just got away, LOL. I showered before I did night duty Saturday night, and then of course I slept Sunday. I got up, and just bummed around for the rest of the day. Then yesterday I was going to the gym, so no point having a shower. In the end I didn't go to the gym til 4, and thought of having a shower with the kids when I got home. As it turned out I had a heap of groceries to pack up after dinner, so never got to the shower. Hence this morning when I though right better have a shower, it dawned on me, that indeed I better.

My night duty was good. I looked after an asthma so that was great, and there was also a sick little bronch, which bought back the old days on the ward. The lethargic, floppy little body, wheezy distressed cough. Love it. Although I felt a little like,'was I doing the right things etc' has been a long time since I have done clinical nursing, so i was really judging myself. I am wondering how much has changed, I mean the basic management hasn't, and general nursing care hasn't. But i think I might do an update to reassure myself. The nurse I worked with was great too, we were very alike, it was scarey. Hi Jo if you should ever track me down.

It was a trap waking up on Sunday after my sleep. I got home about 8 am, and by 9 Mark took the kids out in the pram. So I sleep solidly until 1.30 ish, and it was so peaceful in the house, unheard of. So I got up and wandered downstairs, and no sign of anyone. I actually felt alright, so decided I would stay up, wanted to sleep that night as well. So I did a bit of washing, and semi started a layout, but was distracted with a new obssesion. Yes YOU TUBE. I have looked at it before, but wanted to see some Amy Winehouse live. So this then lead me to other artists , which then lead me to others, and so it went. I love live music, so I was just hopping from one to the other. What fun. The thing was I just stayed in my PJs, so cool.

OK gotta go fill out my application for sponsorship for the asthma conference in October. I will leave you with some pics of cute cheekiness!
