The CATS kicked ass!!

Well my hubby is one very happy camper. After paying $600 for his ticket to see Geelong play in the AFL grand final, he is now celebrating their win, and is somewhere in the great abyss of Geelong drunkards.

On an even brighter note I found this today (yes it is hard rubbish here in our neighbourhood, LMAO). It has definately seen better days, and I thought i could paint it or something and Harry loves it, and that is what is important.
Anyway I am enjoying some peace, both kids sleeping peacefully. I am watching DVDs and doing articles for the paediatric newsletter. An article including one about child car seats. I am particulary concerned about the lack of information we, as parents have about the appropriate restraints we should use. Maybe I should cut and paste it.
Anyway best get back to my DVDs...

An angelic, haunting voice.

I meant to look up Eva Cassidy some time ago, but like always I got sidetracked. So tonight she was background music on Dance , and it reminded me. Sad story , she died from cancer in 1996, melonoma. What a loss, she has one of the most beautiful voices I think I have ever heard, and I am going to attempt to insert some you tube footage here, It will bring a tear to your eye. There are some other songs on you tube if you just search her name, including over the rainbow.

Songbird was fleetwood mac song I think -

and Fields of Gold by Sting

I am off to find her CD tomorrow, i just think she is divine.

RIP Eva.

Mumble, mumble

Life is too busy, with what I am not sure, but I have NO time to do ANYTHING, or so it would seem.
So we had a lovely catch up with the girls on Monday in Bendigo , my 3 friends whom I went to Uni with. Can't believe we finished a million years ago, in 1991. I officially have my Masters of Nursing (Children) too if i haven't mentioned it yet. Woo Hoo.

Harry is good, but insisting he sleep upstairs on his flip out couch. It is not in our bed, so at the moment we don't care, but it may be difficult to get rid of him, hmmm.

Emmy is coughing and wheezing and spewed all over me tonight, noice.

Mark is beside himself with excitement about the grandfinal, GO CATS. He paid a ridiculous amount for tickets, of which he paid via internet banking, with no tickets in his hand, so it better be ridgy didge, or i will be pissed. He doesnt spend much money, and it has been a while for the cats, so I am happy for him.

I had a one on one ENJO demo tonight, and sold nearly $900 worth. Not bad for an hours work, and the house was gorgeous too. I am now working otwards the free yearly consultant trip, which is Perth and Margaret River next year. The specials from 1st October are awesome too, stay tuned on my ENJO blog for an update soon.

right, off tobed. Have to read a few pages of my book, started a new Jodi Picoult, and so far so good.

I must get to Big W in the morn, they have a 40 ribbon pack (3 metres each) for 30 dollars, and they look great.

Cacth ya
chickies

Can't be bothered

I really have no energy to type anything here.
So thats it.
No News.
Mark still coughing like an old smoker. Had a growth off his ear last week, ? melanoma. Gets results tomorrow, hopefull will be all clear.
Emmy still has a lovely green nose, frequent candlesticks as Annie would say. LOl
I had my stampin up demo on Saturday, that was fun, beautiful products. Might become a consultant, so I can get cheaper stuff. If you would be interested in a party let me know, cause if there is interest maybe it will push me into the decision, this would be just a hobby, I wouldn't pursue demonstrations, but let them come to me.
Have done a couple of LO over the weekend.
Harry is good
Off to work tomorrow.
Hope you are all well. Catch ya soon

Howdy Doody..

Hiya, I am a bit sleepy, so a quickie.

I had a beautiful weekend in Daylesford with my 2 favourite girls, my sister Kim and daughter Emmerson. A little girls weekend away. We stayed in Hepburn Springs in a cute little renovated miners cottage. We set up scrapping on the kitchen table, and spread Emmy's toys everywhere, and made ourselves at home. Wine and food was had, as was good conversations and plenty of laughs. Friday night was just catching up and one lonely little LO by me, we also enjoyed delicious Thai takeaway. Saturday we strolled around Daylesford. Then back to our residence for a 90 minute facial and massage. We had the new ENJo candle and it was so just divine, even the therapist commented. We then had some more delightful food out at a local italian restaurant. we ended up taking our mains home, as Emmy was a bit hot, and grizzly. I worked on 3 more LO overall. Both mornings we cooked up bacon and eggs, yummo. On Sunday we packed up an checked out the local market and then had lunch at the Boathouse. I have eaten here a couple of times, and don't remember that it was anything spectacular. Well this confirmed my vague recollection. I had a caeser salad, which was just that, a caeser. nothing special. It was priced outrageously @ $22.50 . If i get time I am writing them a letter. Whether you had traditional, chicken or salmon it was the same price. I can assure you for that price I expected the BEST caeser salad I have ever had. Sadly not to be, anyway then Kim and I hugged and we parted ways. I just want to say sissy, THANK YOU sooooo much for a wonderful weekend, and for you genorosity and always unconditional love. I treasure our friendship more than you know. Love always Kaz. xxxx

Night friends.
