Christmas Cheer and a Happy New Year!

Well the fat man has been and my waist has expanded to a rather sizeable tyre. LOL. It was always gunna happen, and I am happy to announce my new years resolution is of course to lose weight and get fit, the same as 1 million or more other people. But seriously, I need to get moving as my tyre is starting to go flat and sag around my knees, grose.

I hope you all enjoyed christmas with your families. We had a pleasant time in Geelong with DH's family. I shared a christmas lunch and KK with my family a month ago, as we were all doing partners families this year. Mum was working too, so hopefull it will work out nicely now, as next year we can all get together, then seperate the following year, then together the following, etc. as mum works every second one. I have sorted a few pics of all our recent happy times, I apologise for the shit pics in Bendigo, we were sitting under a tree and it was way too dark, no idea what setting my camera was on, but clearly not the right one. I also missed the initial opening of the santa sack, because i had no memory card in, der. I have never done that before.
They both seemed very happy with their pressies, and to also share each others , which is good. Emmy gave Harry a little calculator, and Harry gave Emmy a doll and pram set. Santa gave Emmy a talking vaccuum, book, outfit, CD and my little pony. He gave Harry a talking BBQ, book, tshirt, felt creation thing and lots of leggo including a garbage truck (which he had been hoping for) Mum and Dad gave Emmy a musical ball thing, and Harry a big dinosour. Thats it, I guess compared to some kids it is a lot, but compared to others it is not a lot. I think it is reasonable, and was less than $200 each I think.

Here are some more christmas snaps. I must admit I only got a few goodies, but better than none.

There are no pics of Marks pressie, or mine. But he was very happy with his "Ablett Dynasty" framed pic, of the 3 abletts. And I was more than content with my gold H and E ball charms for my Pandora bracelet. It is getting quite full.
We also shared a beautiful dinner last night at Donovans, to celebrate the best and worst years of our lives (6 years married today, )hehe.
So that has been our week. Have a wonderful New Years Eve, and here's to plenty of blogging with friends in 2008.

How could they??

Yes, how could Penfold Mazda send me pictures and brochures of the new Mazda CX - 9. Teasing me like that. They surely know I covet this car from afar. I said to Mark last night "i WANT ONE", AND HE SAID WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR IT?"...i SAID "sANTA" indeed, I don't think this answer went down real well. LOL. So i will stick the picture on my wall and keep dreaming.

Butter wouldn't melt

I just found no time to take any christmas photo shoots this year with the kids. So I did take this, and had a very basic play in photoshop, I think it is very cute. I don't normally send out pics of the kids at christmas , but this year I thought they looked so sweet, and many of our friends and family hardly see them, so I decided why not!

Happy Holidays?

well, they are not unhappy, but holidays have gone from being a lovely time away between husband and wife, to a demanding time away with 2 children. Sure there are not the pressures that you have when you are home, but.... well there are other strains aren't there! Admittedly the communication going on between my dear husband and I is somewhat non existent, what can you do. Men are impossible, truly.
It is a nice place, old, but has everything we need. Great iced coffees, LOL. The kids club has been put to use today, and the last 2 days. although H fell asleep on our bed just as he was to go there yesterday. Didn't stop me though. All Mark wanted to do was have a sleep and read his book. So I went up the shops and had a wander and lunch and wine whilst reading the OK mag in peace, how civil.

I also found a jewellers that has pandora, so I spoilt myself with a new charm, I actually got a clip, a little gold flower, to help seperate some charms, stop them from moving around. The store also gave me a $20 discount off my next purchase, how unfortunate. We went to dream world, (not my idea) which was pretty much a disaster. A whole post on its own. Lets just say men do not think before they act. It was too hot and not alot for the kids. I would have planned better, looked at map and said lets go here etc, but no Yata just took off with the pram. So by the time we got to Wiggles world, H was over it, big time.

We are going to head to Pacific Fair for a wander around with out the kids, and maybe enjoy lunch together today whilst kids in kids club.
I bought some lovely foot scrub and cream for my manky feet, and they feel better already. Ok til the next time,
stay cool,
Kaz

Had to stop by!

Madly packing and organising the dog before we head off at lunch time. We are staying at the paradise resort in Surfers. Check it out, an awesome kids club, 3 hours a day each, bye kids. Hehe. planning sea world and another "world". Can't wait, Harry is going to just love it.

Had a wonderful time at Jess's wedding. I felt great, and (if I do say so myself) looked beautiful, and I had soo many comments, so It really boosted my (sometimes) low self esteem. Some dirty guy even told me I looked hot, LOL. My sincerest thanks to my most bestest bud Annie, I cannot express my gratitude enough, not only did you look after my 2, but you had your 3. 5 kids, great job. Wuv you.

Ok outta here, love and laughter.

P.S have crammed in my xmas cards to finish , and some scrapping, I may be way over my weight limit. hehe.

Ok here's are some snaps for your viewing pleasure, I know only 4, no time my friends. Will sort some more maybe on my return.
