Finally finally finally finally!!!!

Well goodness me, after all this time I have finally gotten my dream job. After originally writing a letter to the respiratory doctor at work in I think 1998 explaining the need for a respiratory nurse, and then having several jobs come up whilst I was heavily pregnant, and then also when both children were too young to send to creche ( for me), I was phoned last week and offered 2 days a week as a paediatric asthma educator at our local community health centre. Woo Hoo. It is for 9 months, but looks promising to continue.I get to go to work and do something i love, know and am good at.

I am very excited, as I wasnt that keen to go back to my old job, didnt like it at all.
So I am going back to work 1 month early, my poor baby girl, but they are great at Harry's creche, and Harry will still be there, and cause i will only be 5 mins away, maybe i can still go for a lunch feed, although that may be too distressing. I decided 10 .5 months old, 11.5 months old is not really too much difference, and the extra months pay will be well worth it.

I am looking into an update for my own skills, to make sure I am up to date with latest drugs and stuff,

So that is my news for the day.

Catch ya all soon.

How Time Flies!

God it is such a common saying, but honestly where does the bloody time go. Not only is my baby 3 years old, YES 3. Good lord, but my princess is 8 months old today. Oh dear they will be at uni before i can blink. Look at them, how sweet. He he do I sound just a bit biaised, ok I know!Well as I said , life just slips away. Now to our trip. We drove and I must say the kids were fantastic. We vmade several stops along the way for food, petrol and boob, and God bless in car DVD. A very well spent $300 I must say. Worth every cent, considering i often travel to the country. We went to Sydney over Easter for a wedding, Marks friends (and mine now) , it was a lovely relaxed time. The kids came for a little while, and Harry had a blast dancing and watching the bongo drum players and fire dancer. Very groovy.

We stayed in Sydney for 4 nights, had a lovely time in Manly, very beachy. Shopped and ate. And Harry had a blast playing in the beach, bit cold for me I must say. But kids they don't care. We then headed to Merimbula on Easter Monday. Neither of us had ever been there, so we were looking forward to it. Left a bit later in the day, so didn't get there til 7 pm. and all very weary by then. We stayed at a big park in a cabin. It was awesome for a family. Right on the beach, and with 2 pools, including a wading pool. kids activities and a big jumping pillow. Harry was in his element. What a lovely few days. Back home on Friday, where Harry had a friends party on Saturday and we had Harry's party on the Sunday. He had a ball, thanks all that came, and for his fab presents, he loves them all. What a great day, easter egg hunt, egg and spoon race, pass the parcel, pinata and face painting. One mum even asked me if i did professional kids parties, LOL. What a compliment.

I have half finished my Uni subject, woo hoo. I will soon have my Masters of Nursing. Wow. Well life doesn't sit still, we start playball tomorrow. I felt Harry had probably grown as much as he could with Gymbaroo, although he still enjoyed it, he can climb and balance like a monkey, so time for some new skills. Playball teaches balll skills (obviously), kicking, throwing, hand /eye co -ordination, but also teamwork. So I think it will be great, and he loves ball games.

Emmerson is a divine, sweet, gorgeous cherub. But she hates food, not interested. The look of disgust and horror if a spoon goes anywhere near her mouth. She isn't rolling from back to tummy, just a gorgeous little slug, he he. That breast milk must be gold, cause she is still on 75th percentile for weight, and 50 % for height. She is very animated thought, and babbles away, and is waving and clapping hands (when she says so though, not when we ask her to, after we have asked and she thinks we aren't looking).
Ok, we are off to Echuca, one of my dear friends is having a party for her 40th (eek). Start saving girls, I think we might haver to do a weekend away in Noosa for my big 4 0 !!
Catch Ya soon.
Love Kaz

WEEKend shenanigans

What a weekend we have had, lovely weather, (mostly) and a wonderful day out today.
Yesterday mark had the kids much of the day while i did an enjo delivery and then met with my mentor for my study. I then watched a DVD last night whilst I did a layout mixed in with some study (very good at multi tasking).

Today Harry, Emmerson and I went into the city on the train to meet Mark after he comleted the run for the kids. He ran 15km with 26,000 other people. He did it in 1 hour and 9 minutes, so he was very happy. We enjoyed a wonder around and a lovely bite to eat.

I am now in the process of mentally preparing to pack for our big trip away.
In the meantime i am trying to complete my second computer conference for uni (I got 10/10 for the 1st one, so was extremely happy), whilst I watch my Super Sunday TV line up>

The latest...

Well I have had a bonza ENJO month. I have sold over $7000 worth, wow. Gosh maybe i will make Vics top 20. But alas all of the top sellers have also probably had a fab month. Funnily enough what has started out as a "hobby" type of job, just to help with groceries is a bit almost addictive. The more I sell, the more motivated I am to try to sell more. Anyway I am getting a pedicure from my manager meeting her goal she set for me.
After all of us having head colds, and the kids developing ear infections, we only had a few days grace and it is back. Mark and I are croaky and feeling heavy headed, and harry and emmy are coughing again. Not too bad, but they both have unsettled nights, which isn't helpful to me. have been trying Emmy on food for about a month now, and she is soo not keen. Started out ok for the first week, now she clamps her mouth shut, little bugger. Not that she is fading away or anything, but they need to start getting in a bit of foo for iron etc from now.

I got my first computer conference in for my Masters subject. So I felt a huge relief, then i started worrying again, as the next one opens on the 27th, and my mentor hasnt contacted me. We are meant to catch up at least 4 times, she is to guide me through my interactions with my client. It is a counselling subject. I am also getting a bit stressed as we head to Sydney on the 5th, and don't get back until the 13th. Then we are having Harry 3rd birthday on the 15th. It was the only free weekend really. Not making it a huge thing with heaps of food or anything, but just need to get lollie bags etc. Must make a list.

We had a wonderful weekend. On Saturday we went to the zoo with all of my Uni buddies (and their hubbies and kidlettes) and still good friends. The weather was funny, sunny one minute and cold and overcast the next. It only really rained twice, and we did the reptile house and seals while it was raining. And it wasnt very busy so it was lovely. It was so nice to catch up with friends over the whole day, no pressure to say everything in 2 hours, or to stress about what the kids were doing, a perfect setting, and I think it was my idea, so clever. He he he. After the zoo we headed to Geelong (second time in a week, had Mark's grandad's funeral on Wednesday, which was a simple service. Harry was very interested in the "box" though), as Mark had his last Triathalon for the season. He wasn't feeling 100% so didn't do as well as he would have liked. But I think overall he is probably very proud. My friends hubby looked up his last results and said Mark's time was really good and he had even beaten some of his friends who had qualified for iron man, god that will be the next thing. But I am very proud of him, that he has a goal, hobby and that he enjoys it.
That will do for now, as I have to go and do some chores. And i really need to finish a layout and send to Scrappit, for next months Scrappit packs. Enjoy our zoo happy snaps. And I will leave you one last image, a tired dad and his little girl, while mum is out selling ENJO (really drinking charddy and socialising with the guests, LOL).

Poor Dadda, he is sooo tired and he is left to care for the children. They looked so cute. He wasn't impressed when the flash went off.

Til next time take care and love to you all.

Aaaaargh!!!

We had a lovely time in Deniliquin, except Harry and Emmerson have ear infections, H was miserable on Monday but has improved, and Emmy is still unhappy. The ENJO demo was good, and i did another yesterday, which i think was my biggest sales, woo hoo, $322 commission, for a couple of hours work, with Emmy there, whilst socialising. How easy is that!

But then I get onto the aaargh. I have decided to do a unit (subject) at uni this term, I was going to leave it until next term, but thought prob easier now whilst i have tuesdays and wednesdays without H. Next term i will be back at work. So I recieved the unit outline today, and i am already 3 weeks behind, due to my delay in deciding, then the secretary didnt enrol me straight away, yada yada. So I am feeling a bit hectic, lost, crazy. blah. Not enough hours in the day. I am taking a deep breath, making a to do list and regrouping. Because at the end of it i will have my Masters in Nursing (Children), very special.

And the weight watchers, well i put on, now i have lost a bit again, but I have noooo motivation. I wanna walk, but just cant (or wont) find the time. I dont want to walk with the kids, too hard with the pram, and i want to walk taffy. But mark is so busy with quotes I don't want to burden him. Why do we women always put ourselves last???? beats me.

This is Taffy, she is a beautiful girl.

Right, now onto to that list, gee it just keeps getting longer.
Have a great weekend everyone, we are going to a play centre in the morning, then home to get onto my lsit. Taa ta.

Sunny Deni!

Here's the little precious munchkins. Can't believe Emmy is 6 months already and that H is going to be 3 next month. Wow.

Well what have we been up to?? I have done 2 ENJO demos for the month already and had some great over the phone sales. So I have sold nealy $3000.00 already. My manager has set me a challenge to sell $6000 and she will shout me a manicure or pedicure, so that would be so lovely. We are currently having a little holiday in Deniliquin, at my sisters house. We stayed over at my friend Andrea's in Echuca for the first night. Harry had a great time playing with her son Mitchell. She coloured my hair in the morning, and I look like a new girl. I won't comment on the weight loss at the present moment, as I have come to a standstill. I need to get my motivation back....come back, where are you?

Mark is busy with a big reno, and I am sure he will enjoy his family free weekend, he has a bucks day, although tomorrow he will be feeling somewhat shabby.
We are eagerly awaiting Easter, because we are driving to Sydney (mad I know, thank god for in car DVD) for a friends wedding, and we stay there for a few days and then drive to Merrimbula, where we are staying for 4 nights. So that should be a lovely little vacation.
Right off to have soem breakfast. I am also hoping to get some layouts done, I bought 4 packs, which is a bit hopeful I know, but I will see how I go.
Take care.
